Meet our Team!

Dr. Dinshaw, DVM - Veterinarian

Dr. Dinshaw joined the Windmill Team in 2021 after specializing in emergency and critical care medicine in the Frisco area for several years. Originally from Millington, Michigan where he did his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, he then moved to Oklahoma and graduated with his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2012. He brings to the team the benefit of emergency care and specialty training as well as surgical, internal medicine and preventative wellness skills. He enjoys getting to know each client and patient and seeing patients returning often for re-check visits, ensuring every concern is addressed and taken care of to the best of his ability. Dr. Dinshaw is an avid pug fan, owning a 3yr old fawn pug named "Squish". In his spare time, he enjoys tinkering with his cars. His main hobby is restoring older model cars to their original condition and adding to his car collection.

Dr. Dean Severidt - DVM

Dr. Severidt is very passionate about surgery and the total well-being of his patients. He enjoys building a trusting relationship with both the pet and pet parent and is always willing to do anything it takes to help his patients.

After his 30+ years as a Lead Veterinarian, Emergency and Critical Care Medical Director and Hospital owner, he brings his experience in surgery, diagnostics, and internal medicine to the Windmill team. He can perform advanced soft tissue surgeries and emergency procedures.

He also enjoys mentoring and assisting less experienced doctors and veterinary students. Dr. Dean is always willing to train and assist where needed. He enjoys building a strong bond and rapport with the pet and parent to offer the best solutions and be completely transparent about what is best for his patients.

Dr. Moppin - DVM

Dr. Moppin graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, a Master of Veterinary Public Health from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Southern New Hampshire University.

Dr. Moppin is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. Following a career in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps, Dr. Moppin has returned to private practice. His specialty in public health and preventive medicine has followed along with his interests in educating clients and assisting in the overall health of both the human and animal family members.

Dr. Moppin keeps up to date on his skills with Continuing Education conferences, online training, and reading multiple journals. Dr. Moppin spends his free time with his wife, Jana, and pursuing his hobby of photography. He has three dogs (Kiya, a Belgian Malinois; Nitro, a Rottweiler; and Xion, a German Shepherd) and a horse (Rona, a Quarter Horse) that keep him and his wife busy and on the go.

Dr. Vatti - Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Vatti was originally born and raised in India, from where she also graduated in Veterinary Medicine. After moving to the United States, she attended Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine as a part of the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Board Certification Program. She practiced in suburbs of Chicago and Central IL for 10 years prior to moving to Texas in 2017.

She practices exclusively with small animals and  has special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She is currently pursuing certification in small animal Acupuncture. Prior to joining the team at Windmill Veterinary Center, she worked as a relief veterinarian around North Dallas. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling and cooking.

Kelly Chaffer, LVT - Hospital Manager

Originally from Upstate NY, Kelly has been a veterinary technician for 24 years. Growing up with farm animals as well as domesticated animals gave her the passion to pursue her education in Animal Sciences. After leaving college in NY, she pursued advanced training in veterinary technology in Georgia working for the Veterinary Referral Surgical Practice and Animal Emergency Center of North Fulton and received her LVT in 2005. She later moved to Texas to pursue more orthopedic, emergency and specialty medicine training. After being a Lead Technician for many years, she advanced to hospital management and worked alongside hospital leaders and mentors to gain more operational knowledge and experience. Kelly joined the Windmill team in 2021 after managing a 3-doctor small animal practice in Denton, TX since 2017. She is passionate about training and teaching all staff members, especially veterinary assistants, technicians and veterinary students. Kelly lives with her husband Deryl, daughter Kyleigh and Son Danny in Gainesville. They have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 horse, 1 rabbit and tree from named "Leroy".

Mary Rump - Groomer

Mary has been a groomer since 2008. Her original training was in graphic arts, as she graduated from UNT with a degree in Graphic Arts and Advertising. Using her love for pets and artistry, Mary channels this passion into each pet she grooms. She has an eye for imagining the best groom for each pet and tailors this specifically to each pet's needs. It's also her top priority to ensure each pet receives a stress-free grooming experience. She routinely gives each pet a rest break and bathroom break in between their haircuts to ensure they are relaxed during the groom. Mary lives with her husband in Frisco and has 3 dogs: 2 daschunds and a yorkie mix.

Andi Callowhill - Groomer

Andi is a true animal lover at heart and found her calling in grooming! She gets to spend time with the pets she cares for, while making them look & feel great! Andi is trained in all grooming styles, breeds and even does coloring! She has been grooming for over 5 years and received her grooming certification from the Animal Behavior College. Andi most recently moved to Prosper to join the WVC team with her 2 dogs, Hoss & Gamba, plus her 2 cats, Cowboy & Cowgirl. In her spare time Andi loves going to the dog park with her pups, spending time with her family and fishing.
