Dr. Moppin graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, a Master of Veterinary Public Health from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Southern New Hampshire University.
Dr. Moppin is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. Following a career in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps, Dr. Moppin has returned to private practice. His specialty in public health and preventive medicine has followed along with his interests in educating clients and assisting in the overall health of both the human and animal family members.
Dr. Moppin keeps up to date on his skills with Continuing Education conferences, online training, and reading multiple journals. Dr. Moppin spends his free time with his wife, Jana, and pursuing his hobby of photography. He has three dogs (Kiya, a Belgian Malinois; Nitro, a Rottweiler; and Xion, a German Shepherd) and a horse (Rona, a Quarter Horse) that keep him and his wife busy and on the go.
